Hampton Inn & Suites St. George SunRiver

Reality hits the road. this place is dark! Out in the middle of nowhere and the beds are hard. We honestly could not see. It’s dark even with every light on in the room you could not see. There are a million light switches that don’t do anything. The lobby is tight and poorly light. We went down to eat our dinner and could barely see our food. I feel so old by having to post this review. But turn up the lights- add more lights in the room- seriously how can one clean when it’s that dark. I should not have to use a flash light in my room to see or in the lobby to eat.

This is a lovely, new hotel. The location is great. Easy on and off the freeway. Their snacks/food area is great with lots of selections. The breakfast each morning was decent. It is overall very clean and the workers very friendly. The room we were given was large and spacious, and we were given an upgrade from the room we requested with a sitting area and large desk. That was awesome. The view out the very large windows was great! We really enjoyed the thunder and lightening display! Two things made me give this hotel a 4 and not a 5 star rating. I disappointed at the cleanliness of the room. Although OK, not what I would expect for a Hilton hotel, much less a brand new hotel. There was a short black hair on the counter when we arrived. The inside of the refrigerator was dirty. The corners in the bathroom had dust and hair and the caulking in the shower was not quite clean. Perhaps it was rust and not mold, but it just didn't look clean. The second reason is that this hotel allows pets. Which is great for pet owners, but I do not enjoy staying in a room where pets have been. I might suggest that only certain rooms allow pets so that those of us who don't travel with pets can stay comfortably. Overall, we were mostly satisfied with our stay and would consider staying again when we come to St. George. Thank you Hampton Inn.

Just a bit far from downtown St George this great Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is the right place to stay in St George. I have visited most of the Hotels in the area and this location is the best place for me so far. Rooms are just the right size, clean and comfortable. This will be the perfect place for me to stay again. Located in exit 2 interstate 15 FWY.
